Galois representations and modularity for twisted moments of Kloosterman sums

Associated with the classical Kloosterman sums, we consider the quadratic twisted symmetric power moments. We investigate the cohomological properties and construct the motives over the field of the rationals underlying such moments. We determine the associated modular forms in the lower degree cases.
